By allowing Moose Builders to partner with you to provide an initial consultation, we are able to provide you with the knowledge that has been derived from years of experience and formal training so you can make an informed decision about your project needs. You are able to ask questions specific to your project and get straightforward answers you can trust. This gives you peace of mind and confidence the job will be done right. It also provides you and us an opportunity to meet one another and start a relationship that is pertinent to your experience during the project. Trusting your builder is important and we want our customers to have confidence in the people who are helping “build their dreams.”

Moose Builders will schedule a time that is convenient for your schedule and attend the project location to meet you. During this time, we will listen to your project needs and ask you questions. We will digitally draw your project footprint using our software (if needed) and take pictures of the existing project space. We will closely examine any aspects of your project that are relevant to the project’s completion and take notes. Once we finish the initial consultation, we will provide you with a “quick estimate” of the project cost and details within 14 business days. 

Since we are providing our customers with a service that most companies do not provide, we do charge a nominal fee, which most customers agree is well worth the investment. We offer two options for customers to choose from:

• Quick Estimate (“Ballpark Estimate”) – Moose Builders will visit your project location and talk with you about your project desires/needs. We will then provide you with a quick estimate (“ballpark estimate”) that isn’t exact, but close to what we believe the project will cost. The cost for this service is $65.00. You should expect to receive your quick estimate within 7-14 business days. (If the quick estimate is within the customer’s expected budget range, Moose Builders will then need to complete a detailed estimate as listed below. The customer will then be invoiced the detailed estimate fee minus the quick estimate charges ($435.00).
• Detailed Estimate – Moose Builders will visit your project location and talk with you about your project desires/needs. While on-site, we will take pictures and use our technology to digitally draw your space with accurate measurements down to 1/16th of an inch. This provides you and us with 3D renderings of the space. We will then come back to the office and develop a detailed project estimate that includes allowances for items such as flooring, appliances, fixtures, etc. The detailed estimate will provide the customer with an estimate that will be the actual/final cost of the project. We will use the exact dimensions of your project space and run a detailed cost analysis for all parts of the project. The cost for this service is $500.00. If you choose this option, this will serve as the contract/proposal that both parties will sign to authorize work to be completed. You should expect to receive your detailed estimate within 14-21 business days.
